Quibids is such a scam but apparently scamming people on their site isnt enough. I was looking to buy a used computer off craigslist so I emailed a few of the listing and This is the reply I got:

to me

Hello R.,

I'm sorry to say just sold this to one guy. I got 3 brand new from http://quibidsbuy.com and resold them for some extra money. You can buy from this website for very cheap, try it and save your money.

The trick is just put in a bid under 5 seconds. So the other bidders don't have the chance to submit their counter bids. That's what I did and it's really easy to win.

Best of luck

Kathyrn

Ok so normally I would never post another persons email but after getting 3 exact same email from 3 different posts on craigslist I KNOW thats a scammer working for quibids..... Its SOOO messed up bc now no one wants to buy on craigslist bc of all the scammers and so no one even tries to sell real stuff since the buyers get so tired of dealing with all the scams..

Product or Service Mentioned: Quibids Subscription.

Reason of review: Serious problems with how you adversite.

LOL I just got the same message from Jessica Scott (with a totally different email address: valeriavanderburg5608@yahoo.com). This is obviously something QuiBids has authorized because there's no affiliate marketing involved.

Deceptive marketing practice at best, criminal activity at worst.....Hi Jim,I'm sorry to say i sold this to another guy. But i wont hide where i got it from.

I picked up 2 brand new ones for under $70 from qbidsbrand.comIt's very easy to win. The trick is to bid only when the counter hits 4 seconds.Best regards,Jessica

Considering the clock gets extended for more time each time you bid, that doesn't even make sense. On eBay you can wait until the last seconds and win something, but on Quibids you bid and the time clock resets to later.

I got an almost identical email total for a Motorola cell phone that was to good to believe. So I Google'd Quibids and ended up here...

after several site that say it's 4.5 out of 5. But I always skip the first page of paid responses from Google anyway.
