I was bidding on for '250 voucher bids'. After about 100 bids, I lost interest to lose more and decided to go for the 'BUY IT NOW', for which I had to pay for the remaining 150 bids, which came upto 90$.

After paying for the bids with my money, I started bidding for an iPAD whose real value is some 369$. I lost the bid after spending about 80 bids because I was not paying attention for 5 seconds. Since I bid 80 bids, the money is supposed to be deducted from my 'buy it now price, RIGHT??!! But NO, my 'buy it now' price was still 369$ since the bids I used are voucher bids.

That is outright cheating!!

We should not encourage these guys! Its like GAMBLING, but only to lose !!

It sounds like the bids that you placed during the auction for the iPad are called โ€˜Voucherโ€™ bids. Voucher bids are bids that are received through either a promotional offer or won in an auction.

These bids cannot be used toward โ€˜Buy Nowโ€™, as you were able to receive them at a discounted rate, or for free. This is stated at the bottom of every bid voucher auction, saying, "Unlike the Real Bids you purchase at the Bid Store, Voucher Bids are not eligible for a refund, and nor may you use them toward an itemโ€™s Buy Now price. Voucher Bids also carry an expiration date (theyโ€™re valid for nine months in this case), which you can monitor by checking your Bid Credit History."

This is also explained in the Help section in the article about bidding.

Under the title โ€˜What is Buy Now?โ€™ stating that, โ€œVoucher Bids will not be used to discount the Buy Now Price.โ€ For more information regarding real bids vs. voucher bids, please visit this blog post: http://blog.quibids.com/real-bids-vs-voucher-bids/

I used vouchers bids and won an auction, however, after nearly 2 months I still haven't received the items won in that auction. Several e-mails and a phone call to an empty office later, I'm still waiting and wondering.

I am trying not to draw conclusions based on some of the complaints here but ask yourself, why would I, along with the others, be here in the first place. I will be the first to report positively should you choose to rectify this issue.

I certainly look forward to hearing from you soon. item won at auction using voucher bids were and paid for A55678****

Your move.
